[Skip Ahead] Luke enters the Cave

“There’s something not right here,” Luke says as he pulls up his jacket from the base of the tree, sliding himself in as he stares at a distant cave. Darkness seemed to sift out of the entrance, sinister tendrils of energy beckoning for the youth to join, as if a hefty bounty placed upon his soul; freezing air surrounded him the longer that he looked out, causing his balls to shrivel up. With his left hand, he gently squeezed himself reassuringly before turning back to face his new master. “I feel cold. ****.”

“The place... is strong with the Dark Side of the ****. A domain of evil, it is,” Yoda warned as he wrestled atop the tree stump he sat. His brow wrinkled as he lowered his head, eyes closing as he sensed that powerful darkness that loomed over the two men. Luke looked to him for guidance - some understanding of the situation. He could feel himself tense up as the ambiguity behind the cave made him restless and nervous, anxious to explore. “In you must go.”

“What’s in there?”

“Only what you take with you,” Yoda solemnly stated.

“More cryptic nonsense” is what Luke wished he could say as he puzzled his master and kept glancing back to the entrance, curious as to what was in there that disturbed his master so. But this Jedi Knight had spent weeks with Yoda so far and he was ready to prove himself, somehow, someway after constant disappointment and disapproval. He reached for his belt, which contained both his lightsaber and blaster, and started fastening it around his waist.

“Your weapons,” the wise hermit said. “You will not need them.”

Luke wanted to laugh at how ridiculous Yoda sounded - here was a place that was teeming with some of the most horrible senses Skywalker had ever imagined and his master wanted him to go defenseless and alone? Surely that had to be some kind of a test. With a sarcastic grin, he shook his head and finished clasping his belt, gripping his precious lightsaber with his right hand, as he slowly made his way to the shadowy opening.

The rocky corridor was nearly pitch black - there was little he could see, and the few things he could see were nothing more than the beasts and insects native to Dagobah. Luke almost started to laugh at himself over how nervous he had been when he suddenly saw something begin to flicker in the shadows, slowly heading toward him.
